Sugarbush Backcountry

A lot of decent snow recently.  Been venturing out in the Sugarbush backcountry and getting some rowdy ski and snowboard shots.  This zone was particularly fun.

Feature: Kronicle

Spent an awesome 10 days in Nelson, BC last winter with writer Mike Horn and a cast of others that included Johan Olofsson.  We were there shooting a feature for this years Kronicle Magazine.  The story was to tag along with the Sweetgrass Productions crew while they filmed their next feature "Valhalla" and document Johan and his Venture noboard.  Deep snow and great times for sure.

This shoot for Powder Magazine didn't exactly go as planned.  The assignment was to head to the hostel and get shots of people partying in the crowded lodge after a blower day at Jay Peak.  Unfortunately winter quit on us in early February and by the time I got there it was closed for repairs.
