Just Relax.
The blog has been silent for the past few weeks. I've been super busy shooting a big job for Killington Resort. The job is taking a little longer than expected but I should have it wrapped up sometime next week. While I was pluggin away at that job I got a call from Chandler B. the Interactive Manager for Killington. He needed to line up a separate shoot for some fresh images that would be used for an online ad campaign that was set to launch ASAP. I lined up a model and we got a window of decent weather this past Tuesday (not that easy this summer) and got the shoot done. Amazing the speed of technology. We finished the shoot Tuesday evening at 8:00, I uploaded the selects to my server by 10:00 the next morning and after a round of approvals the ads went live all over the world wide web later that Wednesday afternoon.

Upper Valley Life Feature.
Just received my latest issue of Upper Valley Life. I shot a feature for the magazine a few months ago right here in town at Pane e Salute, a small local restaurant. In all I think I have shot 5 features for Laura at Upper Valley Life and every one has looked fantastic and been a blast to shoot - meeting lots of interesting people along the way. If you don't live in the upper valley you won't be able to pick a copy up so below are a few tears from the magazine.

Promo Book 2009.
My new promo book arrived the other day and I have to say it looks sweet. From the paper the pages were printed on to the cover lamination - it's all top quality. I do have a few changes I need make - tweak some of the colors and swap out a few images that just don't work well with the flow. I'm also adding very small location captions for those who might be interested where the image was shot. These books aren't necessarily cheap ($40) so I won't be sending out hundreds, but a few select marketing managers, art directors and photo editors will be getting them...in hopes that they will flip through at least a few pages before "properly filing it away".

YO, You Need Stock? I Got Ya Stock Right Here.
In an ongoing effort to get my images out and in the public view I have recently developed a separate e-commerce stock photography website. Now art directors, art buyers, photo editors and the like can license my images directly through me personally. This site also creates a larger web footprint for Justin Cash Photography. All in all it looks very similar to my main portfolio website and that's by choice...I think they call it seamless integration or something? Below is a slide show from the 2009 US Open of Snowboarding. I can make these slide shows from any number of the images I upload to the stock site with one click of a button. Kinda cool.
If you happen to be in the market for stock photography you can check out my archive here, JUSTIN CASH STOCK ARCHIVE. The site is a work in progress and I still have tons of model released, property released images to upload so check back often.
Thanks,
Justin
